    Cheap pub style food. Not much for children to do and I didn't see a kids menu but may have easily missed it. Good atmosphere when we were there

    We used to go out to the Royal for all our family occasions to have dinner. Well since they changed the chef the food is just awful, the last thing I had to eat was a chicken Kiev and it was a oily soaked lump of undercooked chicken. I'm so disappointed as it used to be a great night out for dinner. Non of my family drink alcohol or gamble so we used to go purely for dinner.
    Until I hear otherwise I'd never go back.
    Why are majority of our local pubs now full of pokies? There is nothing romantic, warm and inviting about the flashy lights and loud ringing and bell sounds.
